If your embroidery software installation stops at dongle verification, you will need a “device driver” that allows your computer to operate your dongle.īernina and Janome dongles, as far as I know, are all technically a USB “HASP key”. That information, or hardware instruction, is called a “driver”. Especially if you are installing the embroidery software on a computer that is newer than that of the embroidery software’s system requirements, the information the computer needs to use the dongle just isn’t available. The answer to your installation woes is that your computer doesn’t know what the dongle is. I can’t say that I can solve everyone’s problem, but if you own Janome or Bernina embroidery software, I just might have the answer you are looking for. Normally the installer sees the dongle and continues installation, but I’ve seen many times when the dongle isn’t verified, and installation cannot proceed. Thank you.During installation of some embroidery software, the installer will ask you to plug in your dongle. Interestingly, their startup time lasts a few minutes after the computer starts, and it takes me several minutes to a few hours. When it closes it is impossible to start. For the most part, when they start the computer they start the application and keep it on all day. Interestingly, I have several colleagues who use the same software on windows 10, I called them, and they all have the same problem !!!!! However, it is not difficult for them to log off or restart to start the application.

I ask someone if they have had a similar experience or if they know the solution or feel what it might be, to share. I feel like one click or command divides me to a solution but i am not at that level that i can find it. Everything is legal software.I have no more options. All drivers and windows have been updated. I spent literally several whole days installing the application again and again with various compatibility and graphic settings, admin rights, various cleanups and settings in windows, events, registers, firewalls, processes, error analysis, changing which graphics card the program starts with, turn on, turn off antivirus software, everything I found on the internet and forums, nothing helped. However, given my character, I wish everything was right for me and all the time. If I log out or restart my computer, everything is fine again. After a while, clicking on the app icon, nothing happens. However, only a certain amount of time varies from minutes to hours.

Once the application is installed on window 10 it can be properly started and running. So far I have used the same application and hasp key in windows XP and windows 7 and everything worked fine. I just bought a new laptop Acer swift 3, SF314-58G, and installed new windows 10. This is an application that works with a hasp dongle key.
